Awareness campaign, training of stakeholders- representatives of NGOs, Police, Advocate, students and other service providers on The Dowry Prohibition Act 1961, The Prevention of Witch (Dayan) Practices Act 1999, The Protection of Women from DV Act 2005, Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 2013, The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2000, Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2006, POCSO 2012, and other law and policies related to women & children are undertaken.
Policy advocacy with Government and related department, highlighting issues in public domain by organizing meetings, conducting debates in school/colleges, organizing conclave with political representatives & concerned officials are also responsibilities.
